Troubleshooting and Instructions to Set up TV Lift with Bluetooth Remote Control
How to check your TV Lift and set it up correctly.
Whether you are setting up your TV lift for the first time or it has stopped working, below are some instructions on what to check to get it up and running again. Sometimes a power surge and electronic interference can cause the remote not to activate the TV lift.
- Make sure there is power to the system.
- Check all connections are plugged in and that there is no damage to any of the cables.
- Place the control box with the receiver towards the front of the cabinet. Sometimes electronic equipment will interfere with the remote.
- If you can operate the lift with the small up/down button but not the remote then the receiver may have to re-paired to the transmitter.
- Run the lift all the way down with the manual small up/down button panel.
- Remove power from the control box for about 30s.
- Replace the power and you should see a blue light flashing from the Bluetooth dongle plugged in to the control box.
- While the blue light is flashing press both the up and the down buttons together on the remote control. The blue light should go from flashing to steady for a few seconds and then go off. The remote is now paired to the receiver.
- Now take the small manual up/down button panel and reset the system by pressing the down button once, letting it go and then keeping it down again for about 5-10s. You should see a small up/down movement in the lift. Once the movement has stopped the lift is reset and you can let the down button go.
- Now press the up button on the small manual up/down panel and keep it pressed until the lift gets to the height you want. When there let the up button go to stop the lift. Put the manual up/down control away.
- Now use only the remote control to operate the lift from now on.
