Upon unboxing my Charcoal Desk, I was instantly captivated. I’ve unboxed numerous desks, but very few have left such an impression. The assembly process was relatively straightforward, although it took me a while as I was constantly cleaning my hands to maintain the pristine condition of this pure white desk. The assembly took about 35 – 40 minutes, facilitated by the provided tools. The Charcoal Standing Desk features a rounded toggle switch and a button on the bottom right, with no other controls on the desk. A single light built into the desktop alerts me when the desk determines I need a break. Surprisingly, it’s usually accurate. When I notice the color change or the desk vibrating (yes, it does that too), it’s typically when my concentration begins to wane. This desk has now become an aid in enhancing my performance.

However, for those who intend to use this as a workspace and not a heavy-duty desk setup like what other electric height adjustable standing desks are designed for, then the cable management will suffice.
The Charcoal Standing Desk has been a pleasure to use over the past few weeks. Instead of setting up a multi-monitor setup on this desk, I prefer using it as a dedicated space for focused work. Multi-monitor setups are great for productivity but can also be cumbersome and distracting.
